Raised in Appalachia, Max is a strategic leader, with a restorative approach to collaboration who has a future-focused vision.

​

Since graduating from Salem High School, Max has attended the University of Cincinnati to major in Economics with minors in Public Health and Innovation. A member of the second cohort of the NEXT Innovation Scholars program has furthered his development in design thinking, innovation, and research.

​

In October of 2023, Max was launched as a University Innovation Fellow, a program from the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school) at Stanford University for the 2023-24 school year. In 2024, Max was selected for a Fulbright UK Summer Institute to study Innovation, Creativity, and Technology at the University of Strathclyde, and Glasgow School of Art.

In the A.M. you’ll catch Max reading NYT, GQ, and Wired while enjoying black coffee. In the late P.M., he resides at local clubs DJ’ing techno tunes and house hits.

Max aspires to continue his work in the innovation field, creating impactful change and improving lives bit by bit.
